FAQs

When can you look at my bike?

Whenever you contact us to book a bike in, whether it’s on the phone, via email, via our website or via Facebook we always endeavour to give you a date as to when we will look at your bike. The date we give you is for the initial quote when we will quote the bike for any parts and labour that it needs. Once we have produced a quote that you have agreed to we will then advise on the turnaround time.

Our next available workshop slot is: Friday 20th September 2019

How much will it cost to service my bike?

This is very difficult to confirm until we see your bike. While some customers may have an idea of any issues they have experienced or if they have particular jobs they would like doing, we can’t honestly say how much the service will cost until we have the bike in our workstand.

This is because we may spot something that you may not be aware of. You can read all about the things we look for, and rest assured, we will always provide a free comprehensive quote before we do any work, and we won’t carry out any work until you have agreed to the quote.

Should, during the process of the work, we discover that you need more or less work/parts than we originally quoted we will contact you and advise of the change in the situation.

How long will it take to service my bike?

We endeavour to get your bike back to you as quickly as possible! We keep a small stock holding, which means most bikes we work on will require parts that we need to order in. Most parts can be delivered to us the next working day. In most cases this means bikes can be returned to their owners within 48 hours of being dropped off at our workshop. However, we will always advise you of our lead time and turnaround time. Our process is:

  • Step One - Quote Bike - We will arrange a date with you as to when we can make the initial inspection on your bike.

  • Step Two - Place Orders - As soon as we have completed the quote, we will call you, text you or email you (whichever you prefer) to advise on the parts and labour your bike needs. If your bike needs any parts that are out of stock with the distributor we will advise on this as part of the quote. We will NOT order any parts until we have received confirmation from you that you are happy to go ahead at the price quoted. Please be aware that any delay in signing off the quote could impact our turnaround time. We will advise you when we think we will be able to fit the parts.

  • Step Three - Fit Parts - Once all the parts have arrived we will fit them on the date we have advised. Should this date change for any reason (due to shipping delays, change in job requirements or circumstances outside of our control) we will advise you of this. Once your bike has been serviced we will contact you to let you know that your bike is ready for collection.
